The guarantee will not apply if there is obvious abuse of the coating, modification, or welding of components. Extreme exhaust temperatures exceeding 1200 °F will cause damage and will not be covered for thermal barrier coatings unless the part is coated with Turbo-X 2000 which is guaranteed to 2000 °F. Performance increases can only be guaranteed for the individual due to individual performance needs. Please remember there is no coating that can withstand extreme heat where your headers or manifolds glow.
We have no control over how or how often the part is cleaned or polished so therefore, we do not guarantee the “shine” of a part. Also, dulling will occur in high output motors that use thin gauge pipe (i.e. 18-20 ga.) due to the expansion and contraction of the metals in the areas there turns have stretched the pipe as it exits the exhaust ports. The coating will provide you years of service, but like all polished parts, they must be maintained to keep their polished appearance.
In the event that there is a problem, within the warranty specifications, we agree to recoat any affected part free of charge within a reasonable period of time as determined by PPC, but not exceeding three (3) years. We will not refund the price of purchase, but will gladly repair the part free of charge.
